About

Overview

In 2005, St. Michael’s Presents…Society was established as a registered charity to present concerts in St. Michael and All Angels Anglican Church, Chemainus.

Bringing high-level classical chamber music to small-town Vancouver Island, Chemainus Classical Concerts (St Michael’s Presents Society) values and celebrates the powerful shared experience that live music can bring to a community. We operate almost entirely on volunteer power and streamline our expenses as strictly as possible so that the majority of a concert’s profit can go directly to the performer(s) while simultaneously keeping tickets at prices that welcome audience members of all income levels. We strive for programming that includes local and international performers, with a variety of instruments and styles from month to month. We are proud to locate our performances in the seaside town of Chemainus, where we are the only arts organization that offers regularly-scheduled classical chamber music. We are grateful to our volunteers and audience members alike, as we share our passion for intimate classical musical offerings of the highest standard, for their steadfast support over the years.

St. Michael’s Presents… is a Registered Charity (No. 842945073 RR 0001) and all donations are tax deductible. Concerts normally take place in St. Michael and All Angels Anglican Church, 2858 Mill St., Chemainus and are subject to change without notice.
